We developed Beyond® Cleaning Products to provide unique alternatives to traditional home cleaning and laundry products. Our products perform as well as other traditional cleaning products on the market while offering the user a differentiated, more environmentally friendly experience.
In addition to our innovative product features, what sets Beyond® products apart from many traditional home cleaning and laundry products is that each Beyond® product meets the requirements of a specific U.S. Government standard. This does not imply endorsement of the products by any government agency. Government agencies do not endorse products. Look below to see which registration applies to each product. Explanation of Product Registrations
USDA BioPreferred® Program
Managed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the goal of the BioPreferred Program is to increase the purchase and use of biobased products. The BioPreferred Program was created by the 2002 Farm Bill and reauthorized and expanded as part of the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (2018 Farm Bill). The Program’s purpose is to spur economic development, create new jobs and provide new markets for farm commodities. The increased development, purchase, and use of biobased products reduces our nation’s reliance on petroleum, increases the use of renewable agricultural resources, and contributes to reducing adverse environmental and health impacts.

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Safer Choice Program
Participation in the Safer Choice program is voluntary. Companies who make products carrying the Safer Choice label have invested heavily in research and formulation to ensure that their products meet the Safer Choice Standard. Products have to pass stringent criteria in order to earn the Safer Choice certification. The Safer Choice program reviews more than just product ingredients. They also look at product performance, pH, packaging and more to ensure that products with the Safer Choice label are safer for you and your family. Once a product meets the Safer Choice Standard, EPA conducts annual audits to ensure these standards continue to be met.
These Beyond® products are recognized by the U.S. EPA’s Safer Choice Program:
EPA/Safer Choice recognition does not constitute endorsement of this product. The Safer Choice label signifies that the product’s formula, as Cleanfinity Brands has represented it to the EPA, contains ingredients with more positive human health and environmental characteristics than conventional products of the same type. EPA/Safer Choice relies solely on Cleanfinity Brands, its integrity and good faith, for information on the product’s composition, ingredients and attributes. EPA/Safer Choice has not independently identified, that is, via chemical analysis, the ingredients in the product formula, nor evaluated any of Cleanfinity Brands non-ingredient claims. EPA/Safer Choice provides its evaluation only as to the product’s human health and environmental characteristics, as specified in the Safer Choice Standard and based on currently available information and scientific understanding.
